BROOK PARK, Ohio – A proposed amendment to a Brook Park law prohibiting commercial trucks and trailers from extended parking on residential properties, first discussed nearly a year ago, was re-examined at City Council’s Feb. 8 caucus.
Besides banning commercial vehicle parking at residences, the revised ordinance indicates CV parking also would be prohibited “on any street, roadway, alley or other public place within the city of Brook Park, for any purpose or length of time other than for the expeditious unloading, delivery, pickup and/or loading of materials.”
In addition, a proposed revision to a section of another Brook Park codified ordinance – placed in the Legislative Committee early last month – would tighten regulations regarding the parking/storage of travel trailers, mobile homes, campers, watercraft or watercraft trailers in a residential district.
