Local law enforcement agencies Saturday continued to search for an armed suspect believed to be linked to three homicides Friday morning in North Bend.
Coos County District Attorney R. Paul Frasier said in a press release Saturday that the manhunt was not successful Friday, and the suspect’s identity is still unknown.
Lane County Sheriff’s Office said Saturday it had nothing new to add regarding the manhunt and directed further comments to Coos County Sheriff’s Office. A call for comment to Coos County was not immediately returned.
Fraiser on Saturday released the names of two of the three people killed Friday and a fourth individual who was critically injured:
- Anthony Oyster, 74, a resident of Florida, was killed when he was run over by a pickup at the RV Park at the Mill Casino.
