
Mountain Home voters can choose between one of three voting sites on March 9 when they cast their ballots on a pair of proposed sales tax increases to improve the city’s parks.
Voting sites for the March 9 special election will be the Election Commission office, located at 213 E. 5th Street; the Baxter County Courthouse, located in downtown Mountain Home; and the Twin Lakes Plaza, located at 759 Highway 62 E.
The locations of the voting sites were finalized Friday morning at the Baxter County Election Commission’s first meeting of the year.
One week of early voting will be held at the courthouse beginning Tuesday, March 2 and continuing through Monday, March 8. The courthouse is open 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on weekdays and is closed on weekends.
