
After a successful career at Northup-Grumman, Rich Gurell had a dream of settling down in Flagler County. Purchasing a piece of land on Colbert Lane, he was ready to not only build his forever home, but create 12 “campsites” nestled in the trees for folks who shared his same passion for RVing.
It seemed like a great way to retire.
But the land, zoned commercial, which meant it was not in the cards, so Gurell got creative and decided to fill a different kind of need for people with the same sense of recreational adventure, opening Flagler Toy Storage on Jan. 4, 2021.
